Our Hard Work Is Handmade: Custom Award Ribbons, Rosettes, Sashes & More

With every purchase, we want you to feel:

  • Confident the moment you place your order
  • Impressed by the quality and detail of every award delivered
  • Proud as you hand them out to winners and participants
  • Happy knowing you can trust us time and time again

To make that possible, we rely on a blend of time-tested machinery and state-of-the-art equipment to achieve speed, precision, and consistency. Yet even with all this technology, the heart of every Hodges award is human, shaped by the skilled hands guiding each machine and the trained eyes overseeing every detail. Customized care and personal touch extend across everything we create, from ribbons, rosettes, and sashes to medals, plaques, and trophies. With a mission to turn success and achievement into something tangible, our team dedicates their day to making someone else’s special day a lasting memory.

HANDMADE CUSTOM ROSETTE AWARDS

With over 100 unique styles in our collection, there is a rosette to suit every event, theme, brand, and budget. Each one is made by hand, transforming satin ribbon and all of your customization choices into awards that reflect both the achievement of your recipients and the workmanship of our team. For a closer look, manufacturing rosettes involves many moving pieces, from the creation of the streamers to the formation of the rosette top.

Rosette Streamers

Ribbon colors set the foundation for every rosette, creating the perfect expression for your award. Whether it’s classic blue for first place, red for second, or a custom combination of pastels, neons, and neutrals, the color choice helps communicate the achievement at first glance. For the center streamer, you can select from any of our standard ribbon colors, while the surrounding side streamers offer even more flexibility, including optional multicolor, dandy, or gingham designs, and our newest Hodges-exclusive foil-printed patterns. Together, you have the freedom to represent your brand, opt for seasonal flair, or lean bold, bright, or traditional. Once your selections are finalized, our team gets right to work, pulling the ribbon from the shelf and beginning the hands-on process.

At the center, the custom printed rosette streamer is where the meaning of the award is established, conveying a story of success. Placement, division, event names, dates, and meaningful phrases, as well as personal messages, all find their place here and are displayed in a foil print color that is clear, legible, and visually striking. Behind the finished look is a well-executed production process where each ribbon is meticulously printed, handled, and attached by hand, reflecting the same dedication and expertise that shapes the rest of the rosette.

Rosette Tops & Centers

Each rosette has a signature top, which is made with different variations of ruffles, points, and petals that are carefully arranged to add depth, style, and personality. Every pleat, fold, crease, and pinch is formed with intention, following the specific rosette style you choose. These elements are made to order and color-coordinated to match the combinations you select. Our team then meticulously shapes and stitches each piece, repeating the process with precision to ensure consistency across every rosette in your order. This is detailed work that requires focus, skill, and a steady hand, especially when hundreds of tops are being made in a single day. While machinery supports the process, it is personal touch and technique that truly bring these custom rosette awards to life, ensuring every top meets our standards before moving on to the next stage.

Every stitch matters. The top of our Royston Rosette is carefully sewn layer by layer to create its signature style and depth.

Once the rosette top is complete, space is intentionally left for the centerpiece, which brings the entire award together. Our customizable center options allow your own design to be applied, creating a finished piece that reflects your event or brand. Choices include Gold Rim or Satin Finish centers, which are hot stamped for a traditional look, or Button or premium Birchwood centers, which are printed in full color for bold visual impact. Certain rosette styles also offer additional upgrade options such as a medal coin or a mum center. The medal coin can be cast in any shape or cutout, while the mum center features a tightly coiled ruffle in a dome shape, adding another layer of dimension. Each center is prepared, assembled, and secured by hand to complete the rosette top so every award comes together exactly as intended.

OUR HANDIWORK IN EVERY CUSTOM AWARD

While rosettes are at the heart of what we do at Hodges Badge Company, Inc., our dedication to handmade quality extends across all of our awards. From ribbons and sashes to medals, rider/exhibitor numbers, and trophies, every product carries the same attention, skill, and human touch that defines our craftsmanship.

Aligned by hand, folded with precision, and secured with an eyelet, this layered point top ribbon is part of a process repeated tens, hundreds, and even thousands of times to fulfill each order.

The base of the rosette top is stitched at the hip of this Radstock Rider’s Sash, building on multiple layers of ribbon and preparing for the assembly of the remaining components.

Each printed center insert medal is securely attached to its neck ribbon, marking the final step before quality inspection and packaging.

Laid out in parts and pieced together by hand, this figurine column trophy is built to be strong, steady, and ready for display.

No step goes untouched, even down to the hook attachment on our rider numbers.

Even the tools of our trade require attention. Our maintenance team ensures every sewing machine performs at its best.

Through mastered technique and production, our materials are transformed into lasting symbols of achievement, each one tailored to your specifications and vision. Every adjustment and finishing detail is guided by a level of care that machines cannot achieve alone. It’s the result of dedicated people at Hodges Badge Company, Inc. who take pride in their work and understand that an award should carry significance long after it leaves our hands.
