Meeka

Meeka, a true matriarch, is a 11-year-old Australian Shepherd who commands attention in the agility world. Known for her past High in Trial awards at the United States Australian Shepherd Association's National Specialty Agility Trial, she’s a shining example of dedication and excellence. Previously on Aussie Specialty Day, Meeka captured the Preferred High in Trial award for both Standard and FAST categories, showcasing her exceptional talent and relentless drive.

But Meeka's skills extend far beyond the agility ring. As an AKC Trick Dog Elite Performer, she amazes with her range of tricks, demonstrating both precision and flair. Her role as an Assistant Trainer further underscores her versatility; serving as a demo dog, she helps teach and inspire others in a local Tricks class. This multi-talented Aussie is the embodiment of determination and skill, making her an irreplaceable asset in every endeavor.

Meeka’s ribbons and awards from Hodges are not just accolades, they are symbols of her unwavering commitment to excellence. Off the course, she brings joy and comfort as a certified therapy dog through Love on a Leash, touching countless lives in St. Charles County. This compassionate and driven champion doesn’t stop there; her prize money was used to fund her entry into the AKC National Agility Championships, ensuring her legacy continues to inspire.

Every aspect of Meeka’s life reflects her champion spirit, from her agility achievements to her role in the community. Whether she’s teaching new trick loving dogs or bringing joy to those in need, Meeka exemplifies what it means to be a true champion. Magic

Magic, Meeka’s granddaughter, the rising star of CedarWoods' Aussies, is currently on maternity leave but not before achieving some significant milestones. Recently, Magic earned her MACH2 title during the first weekend of January, right before her maternity leave began. Her agility accomplishments are a testament to her speed, agility, and determination, cementing her status as a true champion.

Magic is not just resting on her laurels, though. Her next goal is to earn the prestigious RACH title, which will add another feather to her cap. At the moment, Magic is staying at their breeder's house, raising five beautiful puppies that were born in February. The plan is to keep one of Magic’s puppies, ensuring that the legacy of champions continues for another generation.

Beyond her agility successes, Magic is also a certified therapy dog through Love on a Leash, bringing joy to many in the community. Her contributions both on and off the agility course highlight her well-rounded character and unwavering dedication.

Melia

Melia, Meeka’s daughter and Magic’s aunt, a blue merle from CedarWoods' Aussies, is a standout in agility, celebrated for her attitude and enjoyment of life. Her accolades, including a PACH ribbon, reflect her dedication and skill. Beyond agility, she is a certified therapy dog, spreading joy and comfort. Melia embodies a champion's spirit, inspiring others through her achievements and compassionate nature, demonstrating that with determination and heart, any challenge can be conquered. Her journey continues to motivate future champions.
